In order to disseminate the research results to an international audience, the training and demonstration events can serve as appropriate instruments. These events offer the chance to address a broad audience and to communicate the findings to numerous experts and interested persons, especially to small and medium-sized companies (SMEs). Furthermore, they are beneficial due to the possibility of interactive actions.

Four different types of activities come into consideration regarding the demonstration and training events:
