The Association of Meat Processors in Bulgaria is a non-profit organisation of 150 companies dealing with production and processing of meat. It is the only branch association in this field. According to expert assessment companies, members of the AMB cover 60% of the market share of meat and meat products in Bulgaria.
AMB is a partner of the state administration. AMB's main priorities lie in the improvement of the meat processing industry and in the execution of the national policy in the field of agriculture and food industry.
As an independent branch organisation the association represents and defends the interests of the producers of the branch before the state institutions. Furthermore assists the state in creation of an equal, competitive and propitious economic environment.
